Graduation Cord
The honor cord is a long-standing tradition of recognizing and celebrating students in high schools and colleges. At the high school level, graduation cords symbolize accomplishments such as academic excellence, leadership skills, community service, and contributions to extracurricular activities. The cord is an entwined rope with a tassel attached to each end, and is worn around the neck on top of the graduation gown.
The HHS PTSA cord color will be determined soon and symbolizes community service through volunteering with our PTSA to engage all students in partnership with parents and teachers to support and improve the HHS community.
